A Perfect Day in Little Italy
6896 Rue Saint Dominique, Montréal, QC

A perfect summer Montreal Sunday includes: brunching on a terrace, walking around the Jean Talon market, and exploring new corners of our city. This past weekend I got to do all 3!
The dishes were all complex in flavour. I was not a huge fan of the black garlic with the french toast (perhaps slightly too sophisticated for my palate), but the seared scallops were buttery and delicious, while the avocado toast was light and fresh.
Next stop- the Jean Talon market. It seems each time I visit, there are more and more vendors selling new hot sauces, peanut butters, and homemade goods. The best part is, they all let you taste! It is such a vibrant place and is just SO Montreal!
At this point, it was beautiful out, so we spent some time walking around and exploring Little Italy. There are countless cafés, tratorria's, and cute spots to eat at. A final stop was made at Alati Caserta where we marveled at the cakes and canoli.
Our day in Little Italy was pretty close to perfect. This is definitely one of my favourite neighbourhoods in our city!
